Ingeo has added Trustee Service to its e-Recording service to deliver a more complete and automated solution for its customers. The incorporation of Trustee Service further enhances the time and cost savings to Ingeo’s customers and expands the number of states and counties in Ingeo’s network where e-Recording can be utilized. Ingeo’s Trustee Service streamlines the workflow and significantly reduces errors and document rejections.

Many states require a trustee’s signature to record real estate documents. Ingeo’s Trustee Service offers the convenience of a single point of delivery:

  • Ingeo contracts with legally authorized trustee agencies to execute documents and act as trustee in each given jurisdiction.
  • Documents created and executed by Ingeo submitters are automatically routed to the trustee or agent.
  • Using a secure log-in to access Ingeo’s system, the trustee/agent reviews the document, verifies the submitter’s signature and notarization, and signs off electronically as the trustee on behalf of the submitter.
  • Once reviewed, approved, and signed by the trustee, Ingeo’s system automatically routes the document to the appropriate county agency for recording.
