Karl Klessig


Karl Klessig is CEO of Ingeo Systems, Inc., the nation’s number one provider of electronic document recording technology where, in the past seven years he has reshaped the company into a national presence and the market leader.

Karl’s professional career has been focused on leading companies to rapid growth, increasing their value and producing successful exit events. He has provided specific expertise in marketing, business development, restructuring, and financial and business management, plus offering general turnaround services for organizations and governments throughout the world. He has personally started and funded six companies, and has been responsible for a number of business turnarounds, with particular emphasis on multi-national environments. Engagements have included companies across a wide range of sizes and industries, and he has acted as a consultant and advisor in the areas of marketing, sales and business development.

Karl has managed operations and conducted business in the international marketplace for almost forty years. In addition to extensive activities in both Europe and the Pacific Rim, he has managed an offshore manufacturing facility, worked on joint ventures and established operations in a number of countries. He has raised equity and development funds for businesses in North America and Europe. He has managed and led patent research and development activities in the fields of optics, cathode ray tube design and electro photography.

Karl has been the President and CEO of nine companies, and has served on the Board of Directors of fourteen companies and organizations. He has been an invited speaker throughout the U.S., and in Canada, Japan and Europe on topics that include strategic partnering, market directions, technology evolution, business strategies and business direction. He has served on and led a number of standards groups throughout his career. For more than fifteen years Karl was on the Board of Overseers of Illinois Institute of Technology.

Karl’s scholastic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Master of International Business Administration from West Coast University.
